EuroMed Justice held its Final Conference on 20th June in Madrid. The Project Management Team presented the milestones, achievements, and lessons learnt during these three years of work. It also put forward recommendations for the future phase.
The delegations of Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Morocco, Palestine and Tunisia, and of some EU Member States attended the Conference. The main European and international stakeholders with which EuroMed Justice has closely worked with (Eurojust, EJN, UN-CTED, UNODC, CoE, HCCH, ENCJ, IAP, etc.) and its twin project EuroMed Police, were also present. All the participants praised the work done and the excellent results of EuroMed Justice, congratulated the Project Management Team and looked forward to EuroMed Justice’s next phase.
The Spanish Minister of Justice and the General Prosecutor gave the welcoming and closing speeches. EuroMed Justice has been implemented by a consortium led by FIIAPP and with EIPA, JCI and CILC.
